Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool is going green thanks to a range of energy saving measures. ‌

Grants from South of Scotland Enterprise’s Net Zero Accelerator fund have allowed the charity run pool to introduce a new cover, filtration and treatment equipment and add solar panels. ‌

It’s part of a series of environmentally friendly moves the pool has taken, which helped save £17,000 on gas bills in the first year alone as well as reduce electricity by a quarter. ‌
