Macy Snow, 18, was recognized by the American Legion as the Outstanding Student Trooper of the Year for her participation in the 2025 Michigan State Police Training Program.

Snow was sponsored by American Legion Post 514 , Lynn C. Weeman, and received a Certificate of Distinction presented by Commander Ken Shreve and First Vice Commander Wayne Blank, according to a community announcement.

She completed a weeklong training at the Michigan State Police Training Academy in Lansing, where she participated in activities similar to those required of state police recruits. The program included driving instruction, firearms training, physical fitness exercises and classroom sessions focused on law enforcement procedures and leadership.
