Free Eye Surgeries Under Ayushman Bharat Scheme Underway in J&K; Urge Public to Avail Benefits: Government Medical College (GMC) and Associated Hospital, Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, is currently conducting free eye surgeries under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, ANI reported.

The surgeries include cataract operations, and medicines are also provided free of cost for most patients. Authorities are urging people to take advantage of the facility.

Superintendent of GMC & AH, Dr. Shamim Ahmed Choudhary, told ANI, "Ayushman is catering to many patients (all indoor patients). We are also covering cataract surgeries. Today, about 17 patients underwent cataract surgery. The surgeries are covered under the Ayushman Bh
