Seventh and eighth grade students from the arts-based Lucy School gained appreciation for the environment and sustainability during an overnight trip to the Chesapeake Bay last week.

Students stayed at the Karen Noonan Environmental Education Center, which is a “green building” outfitted with composting and alternative energy sources run by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Dorchester County.
