COLUMBIA — Several business associates of governor candidate Josh Kimbrell are suing the Spartanburg Republican’s longtime business partner for hurting the value of their small charter airline after an alleged hostile takeover left Kimbrell stranded from the company he co-founded.
Kimbrell, a former conservative radio host who has served in the S.C. state Senate since 2020, was sued earlier this year by former business partner Frank George Rogers in connection to some $2 million from Exodus Airlines LLC, a charter aircraft company the pair co-founded, allegedly for use in financing his political ambitions.
