A Bengaluru-based woman alleged that an Uber auto driver refused to drop her at her destination and even attempted to hit her after an argument. She shared a video of the incident on Instagram, which has since gone viral and prompted responses from both Uber and the police.

In her post, Aimee claimed that the auto driver became aggressive after she asked him to stop at the destination listed in the app.

In the video, Aimee can be heard asking the driver to stop, but he continues driving instead. The exchange, which took place in Kannada, shows the driver responding angrily before the situation escalated. “He suddenly took a U-turn and tried to drive back to where we had come from,” she alleged.

The confrontation grew more tense when she tried to note the vehicle’s registration number.
