MUSKEGON, MI – The Michigan high school boys soccer season has officially entered playoff mode, as opening-round games of district tournaments are slated to kick off on either Wednesday or Thursday night.

Several Muskegon-area teams enter the postseason with state-title aspirations as Grand Haven (No. 5 in D1), Fruitport (No. 8 in D2), North Muskegon (No. 2 in D4) and Western Michigan Christian (No. 6 in D4) have earned statewide recognition from the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association.
