After the success of the semi-high-speed Vande Bharat, attention has turned to the Sleeper Vande Bharat, with talks of running it from Patna to Delhi. With Bihar elections announced and the model code of conduct in effect, questions have arisen over whether the train will run in time for Chhath or face delays. Indian Railways has now provided clarity on the train’s operations.

Currently, the Vande Bharat Express enjoys significant popularity, prompting the Railway Ministry to expand its number. Over 75 Vande Bharat Express trains are already operational. The ministry’s focus has now shifted to the introduction of the Vande Bharat Sleeper. A prototype of this upgraded version has been prepared and trials have been conducted.
