Texas Gov. Greg Abbott last night tweeted an image of troops boarding a military plane , providing an update on President Trump's use of the Texas National Guard. Abbott stated in the post that the troops were "deploying now," but didn't provide additional details of where they were going. Trump has called for the Texas Guard to head to cities led by Democratic mayors, including Portland, Ore. and Chicago.
