Nissan has confirmed the launch of its all-new compact SUV, Tekton, in India by mid-2026. Inspired by Nissan Patrol, it will rival the Hyundai Creta, built on the CMF-B platform, and manufactured in India for domestic sales and exports.

Hyderabad: Looking to re-enter the compact SUV-crazy Indian car market, Nissan has confirmed an all-new C-SUV from its stable. The new car, aimed at rivaling the Hyundai Creta, will be called Tekton. Inspired by the iconic SUV Nissan Patrol, the Tekton will feature a bold design language.

According to reports, the Tekton will be manufactured in India for both the domestic market and exports.

Slated for launch in India in mid-2026, the Tekton is built on Nissan’s CMF-B platform, which will also be shared with the upcoming Renault Duster.
