The Los Angeles Angels are searching for their next manager and three-time NL MVP Albert Pujols is reportedly in the mix for the job.
Pujols, who played for the Cardinals, Angels and Dodgers during his 22-year MLB career, was mentioned by Bob Nightengale as a candidate for the Angels job, along with fellow former multi-time all-stars Torii Hunter and Michael Young.While others are in the mix, The Athletic reports that Pujols is the top choice for Angels owner Arturo “Arte” Moreno.Pujols has been contributing to the Angels organization since retiring in 2022, including working at the team’s academy in the Dominican Republic, according to The Athletic.
