In a statement from the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, North Dakota , it said that extensive reanalysis of a June 20 tornado in Enderlin revealed EF-5 damage.

This is the first tornado given an EF-5 rating since the Moore, Oklahoma tornado in May of 2013.
