If you’re a regular here, then you’ll know that I adore a good cosy game, but there is a major downside to the genre.

Playing a cosy title often includes a hefty chunk of grind.

Yes, of course, some repetitive actions are fun and I personally never tire of gardening or farming; mining ore, however, can occasionally zap all motivation from within me.

I’m sure you have your own idea of an activity that irks you and I want you to hold onto that feeling when I introduce OrePlant to you.

OrePlant, developed by Hypercent Inc, is what I’m going to pitch as Stardew Valley for lazy people, if we’re being a bit tongue in cheek.

It’s a farming sim but an idle one so you can leave the game to beaver away on its own, allowing you to return simply to enjoy the fruits of your lack of labour.
