COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Columbus, Ohio’s new professional football announced it has an official name leading up to the 2026 season.

The Columbus Aviators will debut at Historic Crew Stadium next season as one of the new teams to join the United Football League. The Aviators join the Louisville Kings and Orlando Storm round out the eight-team league as replacements for teams in Michigan, Memphis, and San Antonio.
