Things turned ugly in the Mumbai-Maharashtra three-day warm-up game at the MCA Stadium in Gahunje on Tuesday as Prithvi Shaw engaged in a fight with some of his ex-teammates after getting out.

From videos going viral on social media, Shaw got out trying to slog Musheer on the leg side. The ball, second of Musheer’s fifth over for the match, was looped up and dipped a bit, and the right-handed batter couldn’t get under it, top-edging it to deep square leg, who took the catch easily.

As the cameras turned from the catcher to the pitch, Shaw, wearing kit number ‘100’, was seen taking a swipe with his bat at one of the Mumbai players, even as his batting partner attempted to hold him back.
