Santander has launched a brand-new account with 24/7 GP access. Santander’s Edge Explorer offers perks for its £17 monthly fee – from fee-free spending abroad and cashback on purchases, to access to a virtual GP service 24/7.

Santander is urging customers to spend £17 a month for the Santander Edge Explorer account . The new account from the high street banking giant, which is rivalled by Barclays and Lloyds, offers customers a string of perks.

The perks and freebies on offer from Santander, which also counts NatWest, Nationwide and HSBC among its rivals, includes worldwide family travel insurance (excluding Cuba).
