Barclays bank says swiching can get £900 cash 'from today' View Image

Customers making the switch to Barclays could pocket up to £900 through a new offer, with the high street bank promising people could receive the cash in time for Christmas.

From today (Tuesday, October 7), a fresh current account promotion allows you to claim £400 by moving to a Premier current account and paying in £4,000 within 30 days.

The transfer must be completed via the Current Account Switch Service. Premier banking eligibility requires a gross annual salary of at least £75,000 or total savings and investment balances of £100,000 with Barclays, or a combination of both.
