OLYMPIA, Wash.-- Data coming from the Washington State Department of Health states that COVID-19 vaccination rates are down by 36% so far this year.

Additionally, the flu vaccine rate is also down, but not dropping as far with a loss of 18%

WSDH, in response, posting a dashboard to their website so that users can see vaccination rates in their specific counties.

Users can also look at the different age groups getting the vaccine, along with stats based on race, gender, and ethnicity.

The lowered rates follow a change in CDC's recommendations regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.

As of October 6, the CDC now recommends patients consult with their health care provider before getting a COVID vaccination.
