Fall is here. The sun is setting earlier. Days are getting cooler (sort of), and nights are getting longer. Soon, the clocks will fall back , shifting our daylight hours even more.
President Donald Trump said he wants to get rid of the twice-a-year clock change. A few bills in Congress suggest either making the change permanent or letting states decide whether to make the shift.
Supporters say the adjustment we make in the spring and autumn helps cut energy costs and add more daylight hours to the calendar. But some health experts say the shifts are hard on our bodies.
