Syracuse, N.Y. — Henninger student and Syracuse East flag football quarterback Ta’kai Baker is one of 10 nominees for USA Football’s Heart of a Giant award for Week 5.

Players are nominated by their coaches for “commitment, teamwork, will, character, and dedication on and off the field” and the award is presented by the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and the New York Giants.
