Malayalam superstar Mohanlal met with the Chief of Army Staff in New Delhi as Lieutenant Colonel Mohanlal on Tuesday. The actor, who was also honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award recently, expressed his gratitude for the recognition and discussed improving Territorial Army battalion efficiency.

After meeting the Chief of Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, Mohanlal spoke to the news agency ANI when he said, “It is a great recognition and so much honour to receive commendation from the Army Chief. Dadasaheb Phalke award is also one of the reasons. So, we had a good meeting and we also had a small lunch. It’s a great gesture from the fraternity.
