The family of a man who died from mesothelioma – a cancer caused by asbestos exposure – is appealing for information from individuals who worked with him between 1978 and 1984.

Specialist asbestos solicitors at Hugh James - which has offices in a number of cities including Plymouth - have been instructed by the widow of Denis Tapp, who sadly passed away from mesothelioma earlier this year, to pursue a civil compensation claim.

Mr Tapp's diagnosis and subsequent recent death has been an extremely difficult time for his wife and family.

The legal team at Hugh James is now appealing for witnesses who worked for UBM Scaffolding Ltd at the Devonport Dockyard during the same time as Mr Tapp.
