Kristin Davis is shedding an old grudge.

The "Sex and the City" and "And Just Like That..." star apologized to Bridget Moynahan – who played the wife of Carrie Bradshaw's primary love interest, Mr. Big – for letting her role as Carrie's friend Charlotte affect how she behaved toward Moynahan on set.

"Normally what I would do for guest star people, which were usually men – I would go and try to proactively be friendly. Because it is such a scary situation," Davis, 60, said on her podcast "Are You a Charlotte?" on Monday, Oct. 6.

But because Moynahan's character Natasha was "the nemesis," as the actress herself put it, Davis said she didn't "think I was that nice to you."

The "I, Robot" star seemed to make the realization in the same moment that "that's why nobody was talking to me."

"I feel really bad about that Bridget," Davis replied. But Moynahan quickly reassured her, laughing, "Oh, it's OK now."

The actresses ran into each other years later after going to the same gym in Los Angeles. Moynahan couldn't help but wonder, "Why is she being so nice to me?"

"I'm glad that I had a chance, because by then we weren't in our characters anymore. And I could just be like, a normal person," Davis said. "I didn't even really realize how much I had internalized Charlotte's worldview. Like, I was more forgiving of things. And then I was less forgiving if you were somebody that I felt like was threatening my friend. It's so silly."

Moynahan played Natasha on Seasons 2 and 3 of "Sex in the City," the wife of Chris Noth's Mr. Big, who dated Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie for some time before and during the marriage. Natasha and Big get a divorce in Season 3, when she discovers the affair. The actress returned in "And Just Like That" for a Season 1 episode in which Carrie confronts Natasha after Big's death and discovers he left $1 million to Natasha in his will.

"I have to say since then, like when I came back for 'And Just Like That,' it was such a nice reunion," Moynahan told Davis.

"Getting to play the same characters, but yet having that growth within the characters, even though we're still kind of supporting Carrie and her insane ideas of that episode," Davis added. "But that's also what I love. Like Carrie is a flawed character, as all of us were flawed."
