NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Police say they have now identified and arrested a man they believe to be responsible for crashing into a motorcycle and leaving two injured people at the scene.

Francisco Vazquez-Bravo, 45, of North Charleston, was arrested Monday evening and is charged with two counts of hit-and-run with great bodily injury.

The North Charleston Police Department says this stems from a Saturday incident in which, around 10 p.m., a car hit a motorcycle at the intersection of Dorchester Road and Gwinnett Street before fleeing the scene.

Both victims were hospitalized with serious injuries, according to police. The current status of the victims is unclear.
