Lynell Champlin Batt, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on October 4, 2025, in North Logan, Utah, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 21, 1954, in Logan, Utah, to Zachary and Helen Champlin.

Lynell grew up in a large and loving family with nine siblings: Kathy Nelson, Craig Champlin, Nancy Bolton (deceased), Jeff Champlin, Terry Moss, David Champlin, Paul Champlin, Beth Archibald, and Kim Jones. She was known from an early age for her creativity, kindness, and her ability to make everyone around her feel loved and seen.
