Penunuri, who missed several games due to a rib injury, had the best game of his career as he rushed for 261 yards and five touchdown in a 49-28 victory over First Baptist in Texas. Penunuri, a four-year varsity player, has 4,309 career rushing yards. He needs 205 yards to break Landon Goodwell’s school record of 4,515 yards, which he set from 2001-04.
