The New York Yankees will try to keep their season alive Tuesday night as they face elimination − and a three-game sweep − at the hands of the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 3 of the American League Division Series.
The good news for the Yankees is that they're back in the Bronx now, away from the nightmare scene that Rogers Centre in Toronto has been for them.
The Yankees were blown out in the first two games in Toronto: 10-1 in Game 1 on Saturday, and 13-7 in Game 2 on Sunday.
Now they must win all three remaining games in order to pull out a series victory and advance to the American League Championship Series.
But with one more loss, they'll be staring at a long winter beginning Wednesday morning.
