THE Cincinnati Bengals have made a blockbuster trade for veteran quarterback Joe Flacco.

The decision to trade for the Super Bowl 47 winner comes as they will try to fill the gap left by the injured star Joe Burrow.

The Bengals have struggled mightily on offense since Burrow's brutal toe injury in Week 2.

They've lost three straight games and are coming off a game in which Jake Browning threw three interceptions in a loss to the Detroit Lions.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Bengals made the move to acquire Flacco from the division rival Cleveland Browns, per NFL Network.

The Browns traded Flacco and a sixth-round pick to the Bengals in exchange for a fifth-round pick.
