The New York Rangers were hoping to buy low and sell high at the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

Their alumni celebrated the start of the team's Centennial season by ringing the bell at the Stock Exchange, a daily ceremonious event marking the opening of the day’s trading on Wall Street in New York.

The alumni group, including Hockey Hall of Famer Henrik Lundqvist , and 1994 Cup winners Adam Graves and Mike Richter , made their way downtown to take part in the iconic New York tradition.

With the team’s Centennial logo as a backdrop, the alumni rang the bell to kick off the day.

Last month, the team unveiled its special center-ice logo for this season, as well as recruiting former captain Mark Messier to introduce the new Centennial alternate jersey .
