Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Ghulam Ali Khatana Tuesday took a dig at Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, saying the National Conference (NC) leader is still “living in the pre-2019 era” and needs to realize that Jammu and Kashmir has entered a new political and media landscape.

Talking to reporters during his visit to north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, Khatana, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “Omar Abdullah is living in the pre-2019 era, but he should know that this is the era of social media and electronic media. The time has gone when you could mislead people across the Valley with false narratives. It doesn’t suit now.”
