EAST PEORIA, Ill. – East Peoria Police says there’s no threat to public safety after an alleged stalking incident Sunday night.

Police responded to the Kroger just before 8:00 P.M. on reports a male was following a female, who reported the male was allegedly “cat calling” her.

The female left the store after checking out and reportedly observed the same male waiting in a vehicle with someone. The female then took a picture of the vehicle as she drove by it, then noticed the vehicle follow her up to Springfield Road.

The female then called 911 to report the activity, and drove to the East Peoria Police Department. Police say the female reported the vehicle had returned to Kroger.
