An asylum seeker who posted a video about Nigel Farage said that "he's going to shoot me," the Reform UK leader has said in court.

Fayaz Khan, 26, is charged with making a threat to kill the Reform UK leader between 12 and 15 October last year in a social media post.

A jury at Southwark Crown Court heard Mr Farage say the video - where Khan said he wanted to come to England to "marry" the politician's sister - was "pretty chilling".

Prosecutor Peter Ratliff told the court that Khan posted on TikTok under the handle 'madapasa,' and had posted a series of videos about his attempt to enter the UK " by small boat " last autumn.
