Junior WR/DB scored on a 49-yard pass, a field goal that he blocked and returned 70 yards, and a 20-yard interception return in the Class 6AI Tigers' 42-14 win at No. 10 Yukon. Also had a 54-yard punt return that set up the opening touchdown. Caught five passes for 82 yards, had 13 tackles, including nine solo, one pass breakup and caused a fumble.

Senior QB/DB accounted for 445 yards and seven TDs in the 3A No. 4 Tigers' 52-35 win over No. 9 Grove. Completed 18-of-27 passes for 353 yards and five TDs, had 14 carries for 92 yards and two TDs, and had 15 tackles plus picked off a pass. Was a runner-up in the voting a week ago. Won this week by 34 votes over runner-up CJ Wright of Lincoln Christian.
