The Cincinnati Bengals are acquiring quarterback Joe Flacco from the Cleveland Browns, multiple media outlets reported on Tuesday. Per reports, the Bengals also are picking up a sixth-round pick from the Browns in exchange for a fifth-round pick. The reported trade comes one day after Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor told reporters that the team would evaluate its options at quarterback given Jake Browning's considerable troubles since replacing the injured Joe Burrow. Browning, 29, completed 64.5 percent of his throws for 757 yards with six touchdowns and eight interceptions in four games (three starts) this season for the Bengals (2-3), who have lost three in a row.
