Noteworthy: Major delivered a record-breaking performance, rushing for 346 yards on 37 carries and scoring three touchdowns in leading the Wolves to a 44-28 victory over Santiago in last week’s Big West Conference-South Division opener. Major smashed the program’s previous record for rushing yards in a game: 278 yards by Mike Myers in the 2003 season opener against El Modena. Major more than doubled his season total and topped his previous career best of 105 yards in this year’s season opener against Roosevelt. King returns to action Friday night at home against Corona.
