EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A standoff is happening now at the Terrace Towers Apartments on Terrace Road in East Cleveland.

City spokesperson Justyn Anderson the suspect fired shots earlier Tuesday inside the hallway.

He then barricaded himself on the 8th floor, according to Anderson.

East Cleveland police are working out a plan now to capture him.

Anderson says he is on scene along with Mayor Lateek Shabazz awaiting further updates.
