Mizzou athletics has announced that ‘Tiger Tipoff,’ a joint showcase for both the Missouri men’s and women’s basketball teams , planned for Friday, Oct. 10, has been canceled due to “scheduling conflicts.”

The event was originally planned to allow fans to see a behind-the-scenes look of a team practice, as well as an autograph session with Mizzou players and a discussion with head coaches Dennis Gates and Kellie Harper.

A source told the Tribune that the cancelation is due to an overlap with SEC Nation, which announced earlier this week that it will be in Columbia to preview Missouri football’s home game at 11 a.m. Saturday against Alabama.
