EAST LANSING – Michigan State’s rally to take a seven-point lead quickly turned into a 10-point deficit.

The offense stalled and battered quarterback Aidan Chiles was plastered by a blindside sack for a turnover on downs that basically sealed a second straight defeat.

Moments later, with a little more than five minutes left on the clock in last week’s 38-27 loss at Nebraska, Chiles and top receiver Nick Marsh had a heated exchange on the sideline. Tight end Brennan Parachek and wide receivers coach Courtney Hawkins stepped in to steer Marsh away from one of the team’s captains.
