At least 15 people were killed in a massive landslide that occurred on Tuesday in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district. According to reports, a private bus was buried under heavy debris, leaving several passengers trapped. The tragic incident took place near Ballu Bridge when a massive amount of mud and rocks cascaded down the hillside and crashed onto the vehicle.
According to officials, eighteen people were rescued and three were sent to the hospital. Around 20 to 30 passengers were traveling inside the private bus, reports added. A video from the site showed several locals attempting to rescue those trapped and a JCB machine clearing the debris.
