A man has been jailed for his role in robbing an innocent woman who was out walking her dog in Cannock .

The victim, aged in her 50s, was attacked and pinned to the ground by a gang of masked thugs at Mill Green Nature Reserve on May 24 this year.

The dog walker spotted the hooded group - which included 22-year-old Baydon Whittaker - congregated in an area.

The thugs, all wearing balaclavas, later split up and crept up from behind the victim before knocking her to the ground.

The group then told her that they wouldn't hurt her dog but demanded that she hand over her car keys as they pinned her to the floor.

Eventually, they managed to snatch the keys from her hands.
