The winner for last week’s SouthCoast Girls Athlete of the Week poll was Fairhaven’s Brenna Dugan. Dugan received more than 8,000 votes (83%) to earn the honor.

Dugan had 6 kills and 4 aces in a sweep of Seekonk.

Previous winners were GNB Voc-Tech’s Abby Medeiros, Fairhaven’s Elodie Cook and Old Rochester’s Maya Morrison.

The winner of the SouthCoast Preseason Girls Soccer Player of the Year was Old Rochester’s Emerson Roy with 44% of the vote. The winner of the SouthCoast Preseason Girls Volleyball Player of the Year was Old Rochester’s Maya Morrison with 42% of the vote. The winner of the SouthCoast Preseason Field Hockey Player of the Year was Dartmouth’s Kaelyn Zuber with 47% of the vote. The winner of the Preseason Girls Cross-Country Runner of the Year was GNB Voc-Tech’s Abaigae
