DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- In Durham, polls have closed with the mayor's race and some district-level city council seats at stake.

Earlier Tuesday, ABC11 News saw voters hitting the polls. ABC11 also caught up with some of the candidates out making their final pushes, including Mayor Leonardo Williams.

Williams said he was discouraged by the very low turnout seen in an off-year election.
