Alabama football wide receiver Ryan Williams has responded to the non-targeting call after a hit he suffered during the Crimson Tide's most recent win against Vanderbilt, and addressed whether he thinks defenders are going for his head.

"In the moment, I was just glad we were able to continue to move the ball," Williams said.

The sophomore who was a freshman sensation has extended a string of dropped passes since the 2025 season began. His opener appearance at Florida State was cut short after targeting was called — and ultimately overturned — after a concussion-inducing hit by former Alabama defensive back Earl Little Jr.
