LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The city will have more beauty on display as three large-scale public murals have been unveiled.

Mayor Craig Greenberg says the murals honor the people, places and histories that make Louisville vibrant while allowing everyone to see neighborhoods in an inspiring way.

The three murals are featured in the Smoketown and Portland neighborhoods.

“The Neighborhood,” created by Wilfred Sieg III, is described as a visual gateway into the Smoketown and Shelby Park. He says, “my goal was to create a mural that reflects the spirit and humanity of those who move through it.”

The other two pieces are “Reflecting and Blooming,” and “Chess, not Checkers” by Brittany Conder and Daniel Dean.

Dean collaborated with All or Nothing Boxing Academy to create the piece.
