ST. LOUIS (First Alert 4) — The St. Louis Blues have finalized their 23-man roster for the upcoming season, with their home opener still two days away.

President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced the roster, telling fans they haven’t seen what this team is truly capable of during the preseason games.

“I thought Jim ran a competitive camp, a hard camp, but I personally didn’t learn a lot from the games that you sometimes normally learn,” Armstrong said. “In hindsight, I should’ve done a better job of understanding what Dallas was bringing on Tuesday, that would’ve been the time to dress our lineup.”

The Blues will showcase their complete lineup Thursday night when they host the Minnesota Wild at Enterprise Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
