The Blue Jays have changed up their lineup for tonight’s Game 3 in The Bronx, with Anthony Santander getting a start and Myles Straw back on the bench.
Santander was exposed defensively in left field at Rogers Centre in Game 1, but will patrol the small right field at Yankee Stadium with the Jays hoping to unlock his power bat against Yankees’ left-hander Carlos Rodon.
The switch-hitting Santander missed almost four months with a shoulder injury, and his right-handed swing, the one he’ll need tonight, was the one that was behind as he was rehabbing. Since his return from injury, Santander is 2-for-13 with seven strikeouts. Both his hits have been singles, both batting left-handed.
