The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists has named 10 hospitals as ASHP-certified Centers of Excellence in medication-use safety and pharmacy practice. The designation recognizes hospitals with high-quality pharmacy services and a demonstrated commitment to medication safety, continual improvement and advanced pharmacy practice, according to the ASHP website.

The 10 certified hospitals are:

City of Hope (Duarte, Calif.) Comer Children’s Hospital (Chicago) Keck Medicine of USC (Los Angeles) Lee Health (Fort Myers, Fla.) Legacy Health Salmon Creek Medical Center (Vancouver, Wash.) Mitchell Hospital (Chicago) OSF HealthCare (Peoria, Ill.) Saint Luke’s Hospital (Kansas City, Mo.) UChicago Medicine Center for Care and Discovery  UC San Diego Health
