Parts of Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough as well as the municipality of Côte-St-Luc issued boil-water advisories on Tuesday afternoon after a drop in water pressure.

The advisory asks people in the affected areas to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before consuming it, using it to prepare food or ice cubes or brushing teeth. The water can still be used to bathe, wash hands, dishes and clothes, provided they are well dried.

The affected area of the Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough is bounded by Highway 15 to the east, Côte-St-Luc Rd. to the north, Harvard Ave. to the west and Monkland Ave. to the south.
