Renting a home in Cornwall could soon become a little less complicated for residents.

The Tenant Association of Cornwall and Area (TACA) is set to release a brand new tenant’s guide for Cornwall renters. The 16-page document outlines renter’s rights and available resources in Cornwall and SDG. TACA hopes to release the guide publicly in the coming weeks.

“You would be surprised how much tenants don’t know about their own rights and responsibilities,” said TACA founding member and spokesperson Adam St. Louis. “That’s why I feel that we recognize that there are a lot of escalations and conflicts that could probably be avoided if tenants had a better foundational understanding of their rights and responsibilities.”
