However, the Irish defense has shown improvement in their last two games.
One name that continues to come up when talking about Notre Dame’s defense is defensive coordinator Chris Ash.
In his first year with the program after spending last season as a scout for the Jacksonville Jaguars, he has faced some early challenges.
